Dr. Fabio Scano, Head of the World Health Organization (WHO) Office in Serbia, visited “Torlak” Institute on the occasion of the celebration of the partnership between the Institute, Medicines Patent Pool and WHO. On this occasion, the importance of mRNA technology was highlighted and further support was provided in the implementation of the technology transfer project. Dr. Scano especially thanked the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the support and procurement of the necessary equipment for the further process of implementation of the mRNA technology, as well as France and Canada, which provide support in terms of the development of new biotechnological procedures.
