Almost 100 years have passed since the production of vaccines and sera in the Republic of Serbia was started at “Torlak” Institute. During decades of experience, “Torlak” Institute went through numerous transformations, and the production of vaccines, sera and nutritious microbiological media remained a brand and a synonym for quality and safety in biotechnology.

The Institute of Virology, Vaccines and Sera “Torlak” is a national producer of high-quality and safe vaccines, serums and immunobiological preparations that provide immunization and preventive health protection of the population on the territory of the Republic of Serbia.

In accordance with the needs of the epidemiological situation, our portfolio can be focused on the production of vaccines against infectious diseases that pose a threat to public health.

Institute “Torlak” produces active components that are used for the production of vaccines and sera from its production program.
