The VISION (Vaccine & bIologics reSearch & innovatION) project is a four-year project (September 2023 – August 2027) funded by HORIZON Europe within the call HORIZON-WIDERA-2022-TALENTS-03. The holder of this project is the Institut Pasteur from Tunisia, and the Institute of Virology, Vaccines and Sera “Torlak” is one of the partners together with Darnitsa (Ukraine), Connect’Innov (Tunisia), Institut Pasteur (France), Center for Gene Regulation (Spain ), Quantoom Biosciences (Belgium) and Merck Life Science (France).
The goal of the VISION project is to strengthen cooperation between science and industry, that is, to implement intensive intersectoral and bidirectional transfer of knowledge, which should lead to an increase in the capacity for the production of vaccines and immunobiologicals. It is expected that the successful implementation of the VISION project will increase the efficiency of the development, production and testing of vaccines, including those based on mRNA technology.
To participate in HORIZON projects, “Torlak” Institute has opened and validated an account on the European Commission’s portal. The institute has been assigned a unique Participant Identification Code (PIC). Dr. Sci. Ivana Ćuruvija is the Legal Entity Appointed Representative (LEAR), responsible for uploading the necessary documentation of “Torlak” Institute on the European Commission’s portal.
