  • Research focused on the structural and immunological characterization of proteins, protein engineering. Molecular approaches to protein design, recombinant DNA technology. Three-dimensional protein structure, interactions, and mechanisms of action. Bioinformatics, prediction of post-translational modifications.
  • Laboratory methods and techniques: ELISA, Western blot, electrophoresis, isolation and purification of proteins by affinity chromatography, photon correlation spectroscopy, recombinant DNA technology, PCR.
